Pest control revenue is mostly recurring, and the invoice should make the plan obvious. The usual structure is a larger initial treatment that solves the current problem followed by quarterly or bi-monthly service at a lower rate that keeps it solved. This template shows both, so the customer understands what they are signing up for rather than feeling upsold at visit two. One-off work prices differently: rodent exclusion by scope, termite treatment by linear foot of trench or by structure, bed bug heat treatment by room, wildlife removal per animal plus repairs. Add rows describing what the service actually covered — interior, exterior perimeter, eaves, crawlspace, bait station count — because that is the value the customer cannot see. Where your state requires it, list your applicator license number and the products applied with their EPA registration numbers; many jurisdictions require a leave-behind record anyway, so putting it on the invoice saves a separate form.

Terms this template starts with
Payment is due on receipt. Recurring service continues at the interval shown until cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Covered pests are re-treated at no charge between scheduled visits; pests outside the covered list are quoted separately. Access to the interior, crawlspace and perimeter is the customer's responsibility, and results cannot be warranted where recommended sanitation, moisture or exclusion repairs are not completed. Termite warranties require the annual renewal inspection to remain in force.

Pest Control invoicing questions
- How should initial and recurring service appear together?
- Show both on the first invoice: the higher initial service that solves the current problem, and the recurring rate that begins at the next scheduled visit. Customers who understand the structure up front renew; customers surprised at visit two cancel. Note the service interval and the agreement term on the document itself.
- Do I have to list the products applied?
- Many states require a leave-behind record of pesticides applied, including product name and EPA registration number, target pest and the applicator's license number. Requirements vary, so check your state pesticide regulatory agency. Putting the record on the invoice satisfies both obligations with a single piece of paper.
- How is termite work priced?
- Liquid barrier treatments are usually priced per linear foot of trench or per structure with a stated minimum, baiting systems as an installation plus an annual monitoring fee, and fumigation by cubic footage. Renewal or retreatment warranties bill annually and should appear as their own line with the coverage described.
- What about wildlife and exclusion work?
- Price it as a project rather than a service visit: inspection, trapping or one-way exclusion devices, animal handling per capture where your state permits it, then sealing and repair by scope. Exclusion is the part that actually solves it, and separating it from removal shows why a cheap trapping quote will not hold.
