Six invoice layouts, all free

Every layout renders the same document — the same line items, the same tax and the same totals — in a different visual language. Pick one, open it in the generator, and change it whenever you like.

Classic

A traditional bordered table with the logo top-left and the invoice details top-right. The layout an accounts-payable clerk has processed ten thousand times.

Best for: Corporate clients and anything going through a finance department

Modern

A full-width colour header with the document title reversed out of it, generous whitespace and a borderless striped table.

Best for: Studios, agencies and anyone whose brand is part of the pitch

Minimal

No fills anywhere. Hairline rules, wide margins and spaced uppercase labels — quiet, precise and impossible to date.

Best for: Consultants, architects and premium service work

Use the Minimal layout in the invoice generator

Bold

An oversized title, a high-contrast table head and a solid colour block behind the amount due, so the number is the first thing anyone sees.

Best for: Trades and field work where the invoice gets skimmed on a phone

Use the Bold layout in the invoice generator

Compact

Dense small type built for long parts lists — around thirty line items still fit on a single page without spilling over.

Best for: Auto repair, wholesale and anything itemised down to the washer

Use the Compact layout in the invoice generator

Elegant

A centred letterhead masthead, thin rules and refined spacing. Reads like printed stationery rather than software output.

Best for: Weddings, events, photography and hospitality

Colour, fonts, paper and logo

Any layout takes your logo, an accent colour and a serif, sans-serif or monospaced face, on A4 or US Letter. Free documents carry one small “Made with LaloDocs” line in the footer; Pro removes it and lets you write your own.

Templates preconfigured for your trade
